ONwebCHECK with Over 300 Posts

My first post was on 8/15/2007 and this week I break the 300 post line. I think that is not too bad. And I still have fun with my blog.
And all the time I tried out many things and methods to generate more traffic, to monetize my blog and to get a higher PR. In exchange with other bloggers we made lots of small and bigger test and get some nice results that we will present also to other bloggers.
I also will start some further blogs and also a new project on a new Web-Blog-Directory, that is under construction at the moment but I will notice you when done.
The second thing is a blog about how to monetize your blog step by step.

Stylish Eyeglasses

ZenniOptical still sells stylish prescription Glasses online for a price starting at only $8. That is really amazing. Maybe you have already seen some positive reports about ZenniOptical on TV or heard about them in the radio. You can read about them even in the New York Times. They published a large article on January 23, 2009 – Seeing Straight Without Breaking the Bank – and they also mentioned Zenni Optical and highlight the really low prices. Here is a short statement from the New York Times ´...But if you want a cheap pair of backup glasses, try zennioptical.com, which sells generic frames, including lenses with antiscratch coating, for as little as $8. That’s a bargain considering the average frame price is $118..´ And it is absolutely true, it should be very hard to find the same quality at the same price level! But how can ZenniOptical offers quality Glasses and Frames for such an amazing starting price of only $8? They can offer it for that price because they sell their own manufactured frames direct to the customer online, without dealers and without the cost for a shop or other selling people. And I´m sure you can find there your new eyeglasses with that really huge selection of frames and with many different lens. And this titanium eyeglasses are my favorit one....

Solar Power (2)

OK, maybe you can blanket your house or car with enough solar panels to really take care of all your energy needs. The technology really isn’t there yet. But what about instead of this all-at-once solution, we start to see mini-solar power applications. Need an example?
Well how about a cover for your cell phone with solar panels? It could charge your phone and keep you from having to plug it in to the grid? And how about jacket with solar film on it which captures power for future use?
So maybe we will be able to run many things only with solar power without aditional powersupply.

Solar Power

The 624 carefully positioned mirrors reflect the sun's heat towards a 50 meter-tall central tower where it is concentrated and used to boil water into steam.

The superheated steam is then used to turn a turbine that can produce up to 11 megawatts of electricity -- enough power for 6,000 homes -- according Solucar, the Spanish company that has built the power plant.

While traditional solar panels, photovoltaic cells, convert the sun's power directly into electricity, CSP focuses power from a wide area and uses the vast heat generated to make electricity in a similar way to that produced from coal or oil.

Obama's Economic Recovery Plan

President Barack Obama's economic recovery plan has passed the Senate and just three Republicans helped pass the plan on a 61-37 vote. Obama wants to restore cuts in funds for school construction jobs and help for cash-starved states. The vote was 61-36, one more than the 60 needed to pass, so we see how hard this kind of process is. Let´s hope the money will arrive there where the people really need it.
