3,5” HDD with 1.5 Terabyte


Seagate is now the first manufacturer of 3,5 inch hard discs who announced to bring out a 1.5 Terabyte (1.500 Gigabyte) hard disk in the 3rd quarter 2008. At the moment the biggest HDD is 1.0 Terabyte (1.000 Gigabyte).
Modern magnetically discs with the size of 3.5 inch have a capacity of 250 or 320 Gbyte. The new model from Seagate with the name Barracuda 7200.11 will have 4 discs with a capacity of 375 Gbyte.
