Microsoft was thinking about that to support Windows XP till 2009. But now we can be sure that Microsoft will support Windows XP till 2014. One reason is that many companies, including Intel, will keep Windows XP and don´t want to change to Vista. The next reason is that many new small PC´s and Notebooks like Asus Eee PC are not powerful enough to run Vista on it but strong enough to run Windows XP. Microsoft will prevent to many Linux OS on this kind of Computers.

Great news! I just bought a new PC and specifically got XP on it. I was afraid they would leave me in the lurch, but looks like enough people whined. Yay!
I appreciate with this agreement. It will be a great news for those people who are still feel comfortable to use Windows XP.
Windows XP is very comfortable for me. But I need some change. Because, I like to use upgrade item. So, Vista is my first choice.
