SP1 for MS Vista soon?

Microsoft announce now the SP1 for MS Vista in the 1st. Quarter 2008. Last it was speculated the there will be one in the end of 2007 but Microsoft want to reach a certain level of quality before bring out their 1st Service Pack for the new Operating System Vista.
The SP1 will not bring much more new programmes and tool but have to fix many bugs and problems. So we can home to get a better and more stable system in 2008 with MS Vista.
It also have to fix many problems with the 3D-performance - we will see.

First they start up with a Beta SP1 (another beata for Microsoft -hehe)

OK, I know every one know that sentence "Time is money" But what I mean is that you have to think about it what you are doing with your time.
Many people do to much thinks without any sense. They are busy with reading information's about thinks witch they can´t afford at all! I don´t mean a hobby or something like that or a little bit dreaming. For example the spend time to read an auto magazine or motor-boat-magazine and they gather so much information's about a thing they never will buy or never will have and never will need. Why?
Of course you can have a look at a nice car and read some information's about it - why not! :-) But spend hours and hours with it and start to compare it. Does it make any sense? Not really.
So don´t forget to keep on focus what you really want. Need a car? So make a list - How much money you want to spend - what kind of car you want/need. And think about what kind of motor you need. I think today it is not only the question of much horsepower but also the efficiency of a motor. It will save a lot of money! So take you time to check up where you waste your time. It is better to spend it with your family, your child's or some good friend.... and if you want than think about it how you can get more money.

How you can protect your Mainboard from DEATH?
Plug out the cabel from the powersupply! On new mainboards (ATX) is still power at the mainboard even if turn off you PC! I know it but today i was in hurry an wanted to modify somethink inside of my Computer. I open the case make the modification and then unfortunately a screw falls down on the mainboard and hit a point where still was some electricity... ok not for a long time.
So if you want to make some modifications on your PC ... don´t hurry and put the power cable out of the computer. I build up computers about 18 years but every time you can lear some new things.

Since 4weeks I use that nice product: Freecom Network MediaPlayer

Why I recomend it to you? Because I really like. The usage ist very simple. Plug the USB-cable into your PC and use it like a external disk.
You can store & play/view
* movies in DivX/MPEG-4 format
* sound in MP3,WMA, OGG Vorbis
* JPEG picture
And of course you can also store DATA on it like on a harddisk :-)

A nice feature is that you can connect to a server or folder on your PC and use it in the same way as it would be on the player.

You can connect the player directly to your TV and use it with the remote control very easy with a comfortable menue (like a DVD-Player)
The player is available with several sizes of harddisk or like an kit so you can order a harddisk size you want! (To build in the separate harddisk is very easy!) ATM is an SATA version not available! For the future the player can be updated with a new firmware an mayby some new fine features.
