Of course that trend is very popular atm but there is also some truth on it. For example a modern car consumes less fuel than a old one. Some even use electricity support to lower the consumption. The same you can find in electronics e.g. Computer. The new generation of CPU´s and chipsets helps to save energy. So new tech not only save the environment but also your money. So if you want to buy new stuff so think about it and ask the salesman about it. It saves your money in the future.

saving money is always a good thing.
Good points, saving money-- like making money -- should be a lifestyle not just something you do here and there. Every bit helps, kinda like coupons! :)
nobody likes saving money, a good salesman should always point out any cost savings to the buyer.
it`s great to see companies are worrying about the earth health, it doesn't matter that their principal purpose is rising their sells.
